"There aren’t any sidewalks for the school children to use so they wind up walking on the grass or in the street. Also, Renters can’t come to the meetings. Only owners. I have wonderful friends here and we will probably wind up purchasing. "

"This area offers everything that a city life can not. Beautiful views during the four seasons, interaction with the nature and native animals, nice people and lots of interesting places to visit here and in New York Hudson Valley area. Wineries, Distilleries, Antiques, Farms with their local products, Honey farms, great eateries in the most incredible places, etc.. This is Vernon, a little piece of the America we love!"

"If you like clean, fresh, air - are an outdoorsy type and enjoy fishing, hunting, skiing and water sports, than this is the place for you! Pleasant Valley Lake was created from a quarry in this old town in the 1950s as a weekend. It has since grown to a year round resort in the heart of New Jersey's highest rated golf country (see Crystal Springs). At a fraction of the cost you can enjoy those same luxuries and amenities of the real estate literally seconds from this hidden gem. PVL is a wonderful place to retire, or to raise a family. Good schools, clean air, very little crime it is the wholesome life you've been looking for. So leave the huddle masses in the overcrowded cities and retreat, recoil, rewind and renew in our brilliant hamlet."
