Lots of bullying, especially on the busses. School does nothing about it. Not much emphasis on excelling, going to college, or life achievement. Little emphasis on GATE, achievement, trying hard, and going above and beyond. Lots of bribery of misbehaving and low achieving students to attempt to bring them to the minimum standard just to pass them on to the next grade level. Avoid this school at all costs!!

This is the way Junior High supposed to be about, getting the children ready for High School and this school does an amazing job doing just that.

Both of my kids attended this school in the last few years. The teachers, on the whole, were great -- flexible, hard-working, genuinely interested in helping my kids do well. I know of no such crazy, over-the-top discipline as others on this board claim happened. I know, only, that the teachers, administrators and most everyone here made the transition to a new school, a new town, a new community an easy one.

This is a school ran by complete idiots, that considers holding a pencil to be a just cause for suspension. How are our students supposed to learn if they get suspended for holding writing utensil. How come the school is not paying attention to the fact that there is bullying? Stop worrying about pencils and worry about the real issues at hand!!
