As a former alum from decades ago, VHS is significantly lacking in teacher professionalism. Multiple teachers were toeing the line with students, and far too engaged with politics of the student body. The culture of the school is soured, and the teaching body is to blame for it. There needs to be more outside hires, and less former students being onboarded to the staff that perpetuate the same systemic problems that the school cannot outgrow. I would be much more inclined to send my child to North, or bus them to Hunterdon Central before I would subject them to the subpar VHS school system. For such a solvent school and wealthy taxpayer base, I'd expect better management of the system. My advice is to not send your children to Voorhees.

It was a mediocre experience. Had some good times and some bad. But overall it's an ok school.

Terrible, but on the other hand, made my child matured quickly, that is an unexpected good result
