Private bedroom in very small quiet family cottage/half-cape home on side street close to downtown. Yard with lots of flora and fauna (currently have pictures of backyard flagged as "inappropriate" so hopefully that gets fixed so you can see yard available as part of rental). Minutes from trails and nature areas.
Shared space includes kitchen, bathroom, and living room, bonus room.
UPDATED TO ADD: My dog just passed so will consider pets. My cat will be elsewhere 99% of the time.
Ideal for someone needing a temporary solution (e.g. newly separated, waiting for a house, college student, etc.) up to one year. Completely flexible on terms.
Will check references, work, credit, and CORI (background). Special circumstances considered.
Room can be furnished or unfurnished, but doors and corners are small and large furniture will not get into the house / fit. Might have some storage area available if needed, but not a lot.
In town there is no public transportation, so vehicle required. Parking is off-street. Steps to walking trails and parks. About 5 minutes to I-95, grocery, restaurants, 15 minutes to Newburyport or Haverhill. Close to many colleges.
Not available until mid-end of September due to work currently being done on house (also why I have not uploaded recent pictures of the room/living space). House is / will be continually updated as time goes on and time permits.
I am private and will share additional details and photo of home if I connect with a potential person.

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am a current student here and I have to say my experiences have varied from really good to really bad. Those bathrooms are disgusting and kids don’t treat it well at all. The worst part is we have two urinals in each bathroom and no dividers between them. The amount of disruptions in my classes are countless, and the teachers don’t do anything about in terms of keeping the class silent for even a minute. The only solution is to switch classes and that rarely happens. What I will say is the teachers are very devoted and kind but the system of teaching is really outdated and needs a revamp in terms of punishments and teaching methods. What school needs to understand I don’t like math and it’s not interesting to me. so don’t get surprised when I fail a test, it’s not a fact that I’m not a hard worker look at my other high grads but the fact that a single test in a subject that I hate can stop me from getting honors is baffling. It’s not a bad school don’t get me wrong, it just has some flaws that aren’t getting fixed. Very inexperienced principal is more interested in his status than the education of the students. I have witnessed (as a parent) the principal yell at staff publicly more than once.
