When you have discipline/grade issues, will the principal/superintendent back you? If a student is a child of a board member, how does that impact their support? Do teachers respect, like, trust the principal/superintendent? 2) Do teachers have a good working relationship with the board? Are there members and their children you need to avoid because you will risk your job? 3) How many students were in the alternative school? Will you be held accountable for a failing students? 4) Has the school has been involved in litigation within the last 7 years? Why? 5) Do teachers like their jobs. Have they considered quitting? Do they feel the school is going in a generally positive or negative direction? Contact teachers in and out of your department.
