The unit has tile floors, tile counter tops, tile in the bathroom, a wood stove, a counter top oven, a two burner stove, and a mid-size refrigerator. It has double pane windows that look towards the mountains, casement windows for summer breezes, an electric water heater, and a highly efficient brand new MrCool ductless heat pump for heat and air conditioning. The unit has a stackable washer and dryer in the closet behind the wood stove. The tenant is responsible for internet, electricity, and trash/recycling. There is a basement below the unit with ample shelving and storage room for kayaks, mountain bikes, tools, camping gear, etc. The main home is on a separate driveway about 75 yards away. I am a good and reasonable landlord that likes to take excellent care of his property and looks for the same in a tenant. There are hiking trails throughout the property with multiple gorgeous views of the Appalachian Mountains, as shown in the photos. The views are so beautiful in winter, spring, summer, and autumn.

Owner pays water. Tenant pays internet, electricity, and trash/recycling. Two cats or one small dog under 40 lbs are allowed with a $150 pet deposit. Preference will be given to those who wish to sign a 6 month or 1 year lease. No smoking allowed in the unit. An all wheel drive or 4-wheel drive vehicle is required to navigate the driveway, which is steep at the entrance.

    "This home fills a niche that few others do, priced in a range that's very hard to find in the Asheville area. It's in a peaceful neighborhood, lots of trees, good neighbors and a few cows and horses that add a lot to the "ruburb" (rural suburb) ambiance. The house and grounds are well maintained and easy to keep up. Very cozy...worry free and move-in ready. Perfect for anyone needing a bit more elbow room close to town. It's an easy drive, and Leicester has the least expensive gas in the county. With the county population expected to double in the next 15 years, Leicester will be a good place to invest in a less stressful future."
