As a parent with three successful adult children who attended this school, as well as three children currently enrolled, I felt compelled to offer a different perspective after reading some of the recent reviews.One thing to understand is that this is a small-town school in a small district. If you're expecting the size, resources, and programs of a large urban district like LAUSD, you may be disappointed. However, what this school may lack in size, it makes up for in community.Because of its smaller enrollment, parents have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with teachers, staff, and other families. Throughout the years, I have found the administration and staff to be approachable, transparent, and genuinely invested in students. There are many opportunities for parent involvement, and I believe that involvement plays a significant role in a child's success.Like schools across the country, this district faces budget challenges and teachers are being asked to do more with fewer resources. While it's easy to focus on shortcomings online, it's important to recognize the dedication of educators who continue showing up every day for our children.No school is perfect. We have encountered issues with bullying over the years, but in my experience, concerns have been taken seriously and addressed as appropriately as possible within the legal and disciplinary limitations schools must follow. Often, the biggest challenges schools face stem from larger societal issues that cannot be solved by educators alone.I also believe that a successful school depends on a strong partnership between families and staff. We all want additional programs such as STEAM, art clubs, and extracurricular activities, but these opportunities often require volunteers, funding, and community participation. Rather than expecting already overextended teachers to take on more responsibilities, I encourage parents to become involved and help make those programs possible.What I appreciate most about this school is its small-town atmosphere and sense of community. It may not be the right fit for everyone, but for families who value personal connections, involvement, and a close-knit environment, it offers many strengths that larger districts simply cannot provide.

You’re better off home schooling your child than to let them attend this school. Worse school. They let anyone work here. I wouldn’t recommend this place if my life depended on it.

This school is nice, but it has its downsides. First of all, there's lots of kids that do drugs and atp the teachers don't care. Second of all, they don't really help with bullying. I haven't experienced bullying, but they don't help the kids that are being bullied. I still have ONE more year here left. I DONT WANTV THISSSSSSSSSSSSSSS.
