5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy grand daughter attends CHS this is her first year there. So far it has been a positive experience for her. The teachers seem to take a honest interest in the students. The only thing I do not understand is why the rating is so low it should at least be an 8 if not a 9.Other Review10y ago - Citrus Springs Middle School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is horrible. The teachers are nice, but there's a lot of bullying. I was discriminated a lot while I went to CSMS. No more than a year later, my family and I decided to move to Orlando (Glenridge Middle School), which is amazing, and so far the best school I've gone to, other than RKBBH.Student Review2y ago - Hernando Elementary School

"I feel its a quiet and safe area to raise children in.But except for the YMCA there is not much activity in the summer for teenagers and young children to participate in."
- Mary J. G.

"I feel like this is a safe place to live but there’s nothing for children to do in the summer no activities no real parks so it’s not difficult for them to get in trouble .they (the city)needs to provide more activities for young people and teenagers to give them something to do when they’re not attending school. In thhe summer."

"I love the area. low crime and larger lots. Easy to drive any where from here and roads are multi-laned and traffic it light"

"Great place to live! Nice size yards and a mixture of types of homes. There are families with children and grandparents with grandchildren who visit. A good mixture of everyone. They do drive to fast down the roads so most parents on our road don’t let their children play or ride their bikes on or near the road. Unfortunately there’s always that negative we all hate to see. All in all it’s a great place for families."

"Hilly so it’s hard to see over hills in the dark so stay in your yard if not well lit. The yards are 1 acre lots so no reason for you to not be able to walk the dog in the yard."
