Memphis Virtual School (MVS) is a wonderful school! My daughters were attending K12 in Tennessee however they lost their high school contract and we had to find another "homeschooling" option. We tried brick-and-mortar again but quickly found out it was not a good school. I love Memphis Shelby County Schools but the kids need some lessons in bullying and emotional intelligence. Anyway, we magically found out about our school district's virtual school option. They are a gem! Of course, there's always room for improvement however the school's administrators did their very best to provide clear, concise (and regular) communication. They were very transparent about certain issues if there were any. I'm very proud my high school senior graduated (Class of 2022!!!) from MVS. They motivated her to do her best in school and she came out on top. I can't thank the team at Memphis Virtual School enough. They even had an Ambassador's Program that my daughter participated in...she loves it. She gains new skills for the "real" world. My second daughter will l definitely be going back to Memphis Virtual School next school year and will eventually graduate there just their her sister. They had an awesome graduation ceremony and treated their juniors and seniors as if they were in a traditional brick-and-mortar school. Also, the wonderful thing is...if you have self-starter kids, the classes are all asynchronous meaning there are no live classes unless they have meetings with their counselors which is usually once a month. Parents have access to their learning management account so you stay on top of grades and attendance. I love you, Memphis Virtual School! Thank you!

Don't let your kids attend this school. I'm saying this based on experience. The staff members are RUDE! I've had teachers who thought they befriended me and would talk about the kids (the way they dress, odor, their hair, and more) to me Vs. trying to help them and yelling at them when teachers don't look professional themselves. There isn't any activities for the kids nor trips until the end of the school year. My kids will not be attending this school anymore. I could write a book about Cromwell, but again this school isn't where your child or children should attend.

The staffs unprofessional and they focus need to be on students being able to get pass those so call metal detectors with weapons than worried about some phones. I wouldn't recommend this school to anyone.
