"I’ve lived here in bellows falls for 15 years it’s a welcoming place with minimal problems the tight community means you’ll always be in the know and little will happen without being noticed the crime rate is low and the restaurants are well put together and maintained the clean streets makes for clean crisp air and during the winter the roads are well maintained and for holloween it’s a safe and very friendly "
    • Residents
"A lot of bullying if you’re not athletic or popular. Most in the popular kids are generations deep. No matter what you do or how much time or money you spend chances are you’ll always be on the outside looking in. This town has the potential to be a great quaint little town if the residents were more accepting of new residents doing their best to fit in and raise their kids here and be a part of this little town."
    • Vermont Resident
"The one thing that runs deep is the generations. If you’re not born and bred here it can be extremely difficult to feel like you fit in. It’s sad really because there’s a lot of people that give up because they aren’t from here. It’s hard especially for kids not being born here then trying to fit in and are never really accepted anymore than their parents are. Outsiders will always be just that. On the outside looking in no matter how much time, money or effort you give the community. I hope someday that changes because it’s a great small town where you know everyone."

"I love that there is so much history in the town to be seen. it's a nice small village where almost everybody knows everybody. "
