3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageRequested help for my child who was struggling academically teacher did not care. Kept being pushy about my child staying behind even after I was also studying with her. Wanted her to be evaluated for autism, speech, ADHD just everything they could screen her on. Took them 7months to evaluate her all she got was speech therapy. I knew I had to get my child away from this school. Started Fresh at a new school we're all the help was provided immediately. My daughter is now getting the help she needs. She was diagnosed with Dyslexia and speech and language impairment. I would never ever recommend this school. Not to mention someone bit my child, she had a huge purple bite and not one person knew anything about the incident. No one heard her cry, no one came to check on her, I found out when I got home and was going to give her a bath. They don't care about your kids.Parent Review2y ago5 Reviews - Compton Junior High School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter felt unsafe and didn’t want to talk she got hit by a student and no call was made so my daughter got a hold of me I’m so upset I called multiple times and I was headed up there kept putting me on hold worried about my daughter the girls in the office are weird and very disrespectful if I wanna know what’s going on with my daughter they need to called immediately special If she scared and don’t know what’s going on and don’t want to talk they are also very racist and continued to treat my kids like they were nothing and let teachers scold them they had vendettas against my kids literally illegal I called the school district multiple times times nothing was done what can I do?Parent Review10mo ago2 Reviews - East Bakersfield High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs someone who went too and graduated from this school, I enjoyed my experience in attending this school. Yes there are some problems. Some but not all are a bit lazy and unfocused. The clubs, sports and Academic programs are great. Even though we might not be the best at certain sports. Bullying does happen but it isn't happening everywhere. There is a ton of diversity in the student population, and for the most part we all got along. There are AP classes, academic programs with education being the most important. College Prep and below can be very easy to glide through and graduate. There is a ton of character and spirit at this school. The home work is similar to what is said above in regards to style of school.Other Review4y ago5 Reviews - Check out schools near 485 Crestview Dr.

"This is a nice and comfortable residential area. The streets have sidewalks, parking is easy, and many yards are well-kept. It feels family-friendly, dog-friendly, and peaceful, with kids playing outside and neighbors taking care of their homes. Overall, it seems like a good place to live and stay long-term."

"Safe Halloween, and lots of family activities held by city of Bakersfield and kern county. I’ve lived in Los Angeles county before I bought a home here in Bakersfield, and Bakersfield is hands down way better than Los Angeles County "
