"older houses mixed with new. looks like its up and coming . i feel safe at night walking, but wouldn't want my girl walking alone. Most neighbors are friendly but for the most part stay to themselves. "

"My kids grow up in this area and it's the safest by far during those time and still is the best, it's near school, Park,, and shoping is no more than five minutes any where. And let me say that Fire station is just around the corner."

"Lived here for 5 years, husband was stationed at NOB and Little Creek Base during that time. His commute time was usually about 15-20 minutes. I could get to 6 Malls within a 20 minutes drive of each. Just 10 minutes to Norfolk international airport, back roads."

"I lived in the area for over eight years and loved every moment. Job relocation made me move. Quiet neighborhood and friendly people. Several new houses being built which make great additions to the established area. Gonna miss it."

"I live in the area for 15 yrs, between the bars and the run down area surrrounding the house. I would only recommend it to renters and partiers. You would fit in well with the community as there are several bars and other "activities" with in walking distance "

"Moved out 6 months ago because of job relocation. I am married with 2 kids. THis was a great neighborhood specifically on dolphin ave. Everyone was extremely friendly and yards were always manicured. I walked my chi's every day."
