"neighbors seem to keep to themselves, not a whole lot of outside activity. There are some kids but not a whole lot of interaction"
  • Angelo A.
"Getting downtown at 6 am is no problem at all. Driving out of downtown at 3 pm is difficult at times with traffic and construction. "
  • Fgr8
"I know my neighbors well and have been here 12 years. Everyone is friendly and it is safe and quiet but close to madison and the interstate."
  • mafrazier
"Glacier Hill/Ridgewood area is my ideal neighborhood. I grew up in the area, rented on the edge of it for 3 years, and now just bought a house in Spring 2014. Suburban feel but only minutes away from shopping (Target, East Town Mall), major highways (I-90/94, East Washington Ave., Stoughton Road), and dog park (Sycamore). Excellent view of downtown from areas on the hills. Very large, well maintained park with basketball court and playground. Very diverse area, ethnically and demographically, with new and established families along with retirees. Quiet, friendly, and conveniently located neighborhood, I don't think there are any better in Madison."
