"I enjoy the history of the area, the schools are good in Catoosa county, and it’s outside Chattanooga, TN which North America’s first National Park city. This area is also placed between Atlanta, Knoxville, and Nashville within a 1.5-2 hour drive. "
  • Mom of 2
"Wonderful sports and recreational programs available! Stephenson Park was recently renovated as well! "
  • Trulia User
"There aren’t any community events that I have ever seen in this neighborhood. There’s no public transit in this neighborhood and ppl don’t walk their dogs in this neighborhood."
  • Trulia User
"It’s a nice circle to walk dogs. Lots of people walk their dogs here. It is mostly flat. Road is residential and well maintained"
  • Trulia User

  • Tifinymiolen
"Very hectic during school days and just simply busy during the summer. There are a large number of red lights as well."
  • Rachel R.
"I've only been here for a few months, but i can already tell it is a great place to live. i live within a 5 minute drive of anything i could possibly need for my house, or the dogs, or just me personally. "
  • Jeffncrys
"I've lived in this neighborhood for more than 8 years and love it. Neighbors have become wonderful friends I'd hate to leave. Never had any break-ins and feel my family is safe here."
  • kenyonthenry
"I have lived in the area most of my life (I'm 37). Fort Oglethorpe is a great area for a family and pets. There are plenty of walking areas available. Access to Chickamauga National Park is awesome and provides lots of trails for hiking, biking, or just enjoying a family picnic. The recent and continued addition of shopping centers make this growing area and excellent place to be for convenience. However, you still have the small town feel with plenty of locally owned shops in the area. The schools are great. I know this sight rates them as "meets standard". But, you're kids will get out of it what you as parents put into it. And, the schools are quality schools. Also, there are plenty of churches and other community activities in the area. You seldom lack for anything to do!"
  • Joycegoggin
"My mother lived in this house for many years before the current owner and I lived there too for a short time before I married and moved out. It is a wonderful house for a family. Our Christmas celebrations there were unforgettable and so wonderful. The grandchildren loved all the different spaces it had to explore. It has an old fashioned cozy kind of feel. It was great when we lived there and it was completely renovated by the individual who bought it from my mother. It is even better now than when I lived there. It's a great place to make memories."
