  • Denise McGowan
"I lived here in Coram for 4 years and it’s been pretty quiet in my complex. Animals are on leashes, and the owners pick up after them. Very minimal to no police activity unless it’s a fire alarm that went off falsely "
  • Omaralvarezinc
"The dog park. A small friendly area where our dogs can run free and hangout with their furry friends. "

"Driving only, light traffic in area. Work commute to Nassau County is about 50 min to an hour in morning, an hour or more in evening. Nothing worth walking to in this neighborhood and good restaurants are non-existent."

  • Famiof6
"Nothing really to do here just church and maybe in summer a fair or two. Summer is when you have events"
  • Eleasemorant
"the dogs around town are like family they are lovable and quiet you would never know they are inside a home everyone walks their dog and cleans up after their dog they also are friendly with kids and the mailman or woman "
  • OldTimer
"I have lived here for over 30 years in this diversely populated development. As a 72 year old retiree, I don’t have much in common with my considerably younger, child rearing neighbors, but I must say they are all among the best people anyone could wish for. They shovel my walks and driveway, invite my wife and me to their backyard pools and parties, check in on us to see if we need anything ... we couldn’t be treated better if we lived in a family compound. The service we get from our mail man and our sanitation workers is warm and personal. We consider them friends. Police, volunteer fire fighter, and emergency ambulance responses are fast and extremely competent. Properties are meticulously maintained. Taxes are low (for Long Island). Middle of Long Island location provides relatively easy access (by car) to both North Shore (rocky) and South Shore (white sandy) beaches. A great place to raise a family. My wife and I did."
  • Petagaye Brown
"There are great parks in the area, safe community, very quiet with great neighborhoods. Restaurants are located within the area with fun festivals for the children and adults during the spring and summer "
  • Bellahair326
"There are a lot of families and good people in this town. It’s quiet and no drama for the most part. "
  • Irisjimenez09
"I lived there for 6 years. I liked it friendly neighbors and kids were very active to play outside. "
  • Gina A.
"Newsletter to inform community of all events and any community news, events such as Movie night, paint night, holiday parties, great way to network and engage with neighbors"
  • Paularalmonte
"Certain places are okay but I live in a gated community and it’s fine here! I still wouldn’t go out at night if I wasn’t driving."
  • Emil R.
"sports is big in the Longwood district there are many other activities but I've only been a very short time. They are also many fairs in the summer time for everyone"
  • Egalante37
"A lot of dog owners. nice neighbors. people care about their animals. nice neighborhoods to walk your dogs. "
  • Dpetilli00
"Affordable and very nice feel to the neighborhood. Close to shopping, beach and Eastern Long Island. "
  • Damarbobb
