7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have had two kids graduate from Waubonsie Valley and I could not have been more impressed with the teachers, and administrators of this school. The sense of pride and family that the kids feel experience is amazing. You can see this in action at any sporting event. Students from all walks of life come together to create a learning environment that allows students to thrive academically, socially and emotionally. There are also many, many AP classes offered for high achieving students, of which there are many here. I highly recommend what is called the "Original Valley" ! " Once a Warrior, Always a Warrior" is their motto and could not be more accurate. It is a great place to be!Parent Review1y ago - Mccarty Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child has been attending McCarty for Kindergarten, he loves to go to school, and the teachers are caring, and encouraging and also have a genuine love for working with young children. The teachers and staff are always available to answer questions, provide support, and communicate regularly about my child's progress. There are lots of extra circular activities for families conducted by PTA.Parent Review1y ago - Fischer Middle School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageNot only has this school refused to give my kid the accommodations he needs for his ADHD, anxiety and depression, but he is also getting bullied here and there are no consequences for this behavior at this school.Parent Review11mo ago - Check out schools near 477 Metropolitan St.

"It was mostly quiet but I honestly did not spend too much time outside my own neighborhood growing up. The area by Washington middle school and San sucy was very nice and the people were nice. Nice nature trail near by and lots of activities for families. I do not currently live in the area any longer and have not for years but as I remembered it, it was lovely and you never had to worry about your kids playing outside since everyone was so friendly and knew each other. Overall the people in the San sucy area were what the neighborhood great. Looked out for each other and always looked out for each other’s pets when they ran from the house."
