4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy experience with this school has been quite mostly terrible. Students are not assisted; accordingly, they are usually left in the dark if they fail a large grade. As well as them allowing 2 Failing classes to pass instead of assisting the students. I believe if any failing classes qualified for a hold-back, our school learning average would increase. Staff are failing us students, not ourselves. I agree that students possibly don't make an effort, but is that not a teacher's job to make plans fun and engaging, or shall those who don't listen blatantly, or have undiagnosed attention disorders, etc not get help? Students are also frequently told by other students that counselors will immediately tell their parents about anything they say to them, thus not allowing them to ask for help. In my experience this school has much to work on. Sincerely, A concerned student.Other Review1y ago - Shannondale Elementary School

"Lots of local amenities and fun things to do. There are multiple breweries, restaurants, and novelty snack places to try "

"The city as a whole has becoming increasingly “sketchy” throughout. It still has good parts but even those areas are not as good as what they were 8 years ago. I’d suggest doing some strong research."

"Someone tried to break into our house once while we were home. And raccoons tear up our garbage bins every week. Lots of homeless people waking around and speeding cars "
- Danyel Henley

"We live on the water and we get to see a lot of boats/yachts go by. We are also close to campus so there is still a youthful vibe to the neighborhood. Knoxville has some of the best sunsets around, and being so close to downtown has made it easy to socialize. I would recommend better access to public transportation, but aside from that, this is a lovely place to live."
