We were initially hesitant to enroll our son because of the school’s low test scores. However, despite that concern, he has flourished in Bayshore’s environment. We believe this is due to a combination of caring, supportive teachers and our active involvement in his education outside of school.The school serves a large population of immigrant families, many of whom understandably face challenges during their early years. Our son has attended from K through 2nd grade, and throughout that time, the teachers and staff have consistently been caring and dedicated. The principal leads with passion and heart, representing the school well through active involvement. We see her and the superintendent at every event, even the small ones. No exaggeration. The school’s partnership with the Boys & Girls Club has also been outstanding. Each year, the staff has been amazing. They are clearly passionate about what they do and enthusiastic about keeping the children engaged both mentally and physically. Because we both work full-time, having our son stay there after school has been incredibly helpful, allowing us to avoid the added expense and logistical challenges of arranging pickup before the end of our workday.
