6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am so grateful for this school. Teachers really seem to care for their students. Down the hill at the public high schools my child was just another student bcs faith schools are so inundated with kids. Not here. I feel the the teachers are really vested. Bullying is taken seriously and resolved effectively. Lots of student support. Love this school.Parent Review6y ago - Big Bear Middle School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOne of the finest schools my G-kids ever attended! Whether the schools were in Temecula or the school near Henderson Nevada, where both boys did well, they just feel that their dedication to learning is being appreciated by someone other than the parents! Both boys were embraced by both faculty & students, and this is the way schools should be! I know that Big Bear focuses on the struggling kids as well, so keep up the all around excellence Big Bear!! "WALKABLE, BIKEABLE FAMILY FRIENDLY AREA-ON THE LAKE."
- christopherefelix

"This area is mostly second home and vacation rentals. The village and shopping are less than five miles away, but Mammoth bought the ski and golf course. Rumor has it that golf course a block and a half away may soon become a village of it;s own. With dining, shopping, hotels and bars. The zoo will be moving as soon as they raise enough funds and will be three to four blocks from the entrance! Property values in this area should go up with the new developments."
