I like going to the park which is right down the street from me. People overall are kind and just mind their own business. An excellent neighborhood to live in."

    "i have been renting a house in goodyear heights for nearly four years. all of my neighbors are friendly and quiet. everyone is pretty dog friendly here, too. im nearby 6 corners, tallmadge circle & chapel hill which all have conveniently located shopping centers, restaurants & plazas. cozy place overall.     "i dont commute anywhere yet as im not working. there are lots of places nearby to walk to or drive . easy access to the highways also. seems like a decent location if you do need to commute to work. i habent seen any public transit but lots of pedestrian and car traffic idk what else to say "

    "The potholes on the back roads in Goodyear Heights need fixed; theyre terrible. My car was in perfect shape when I moved here in September on 2017 and since then it's been beaten to a pulp by the roads. It'd be appropriated and definitely wouldnt go unnoticed if there was a little bit of care put into the streets of our neighborhoods. Thank you šŸ’•"

    "I wouldnā€™t say itā€™s special but itā€™s one of the better parts of Akron. Yes stuff still happens here but not too often. Iā€™ve lived here for 11 years and counting and havenā€™t had too much trouble with the neighborhood but of course thereā€™s always those one or two houses that you just donā€™t get why they donā€™t keep up with their property."

We hate walking the dogs in our area because there are several dog owners that donā€™t leash and our dogs have been approached multiple times and have even been but before. Now, on the other side of Goodyear Heights near the park weā€™ve never had this issue. We could walk those neighborhoods for two hours with no issue. Now, near 6 corners we canā€™t even walk around the school without an issue, and our dogs arenā€™t agressors."

The only thing that is not so nice, is the high school for our kids. The kids are a bit rough around the edges, but with alternative choices for school, This area could be our permanent home."
