7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLexington JHS is honestly an amazing school. The teachers are very supportive and the academics are very comprehensive here. You really get a lot of chances to develop character, leadership skills, and general study habits. A lot of thought it put into mental health (Be kind to your mind club, open councilors, etc.) and I'd say there are a lot of ways you can meet like-minded people. Lexington obviously puts a lot of effort into their events, and ASB does an amazing job carrying them out. Extracurricular programs really dig into each subject, and Lexington definitely wins most of the sports games. The only problem I'd have with this school is issues regarding safety on campus. There is a bullying problems, especially when it targets LGBTQIA+ students. Sexual harassment issues were not properly addressed which led many people to be hurt. Even after multiple accounts, the school did not attend these issues. But * in most * cases, the campus is pretty safe.Other Review10mo ago - A. E. Arnold Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSo helpful and understanding! The parents truly have a say in how things are done and how their children are educated. My son started speech therapy sessions at the age of 2 1/2 at Margarete Landell elementary and then continued on to Arnold and spent all his elementary years there!! They made us feel like family and helped us through my son's I.E.P and counseling needs!! They are amazing! If you are a proactive caring parent and want to be apart of your child's elementary years in the best way, this is the school for you!! My son is currently in high school and we still go to visit them just to say hi!!Parent Review1y ago - Margaret Landell Elementary School

"People are walking dogs all the time and it’s a pleasant environment for animals. However, be careful of coyotes because they are very present. Walk dogs close by and on a leash to be safe. Many coyotes have been seen in the area and reports of attacking small animals are not uncommon. Unfortunately with the river beds nearby, there isn’t much that can be done except being aware of your surroundings and being prepared. "
