Three stars based on the negative attitudes of the parents. Strict teachers? Horrible Principle? Too much homework? Maybe not enough homework, and not strict enough? I saw the percentages of absentees for one and saw the majority of the ones absent. Hmm, but they do nothing wrong. Just ask them when they get in trouble on the street.I went to that school in the late 50's early 60's. To hear what you people are saying is disgraceful! Parents start doing your parental jobs and straighten those kids out. Yep! Get strict. I feel sorry for the few kids and their parents that really want an education. This could be a great school. I know because as I said it was when I went there. Sad.. very sad. And no! I am not a teacher.

Hello parents and students of cps and all other places that are inquireing about kelvyn park high school.This school has been through a lot in the last few years.But is now advancing in so many areas.It has taken many years to be where we are so now as a team we will move this school foward and lift it up. I believe it has a beautiful vintage look i love it.The teachers are amazing and work very hard to help our students be successful.The new principles are truly amazing and have done great achieving projects that to me and many others have reach goals.Many great things are happening in Kelvyn Park High School im happy to be a proud parent of students at kelvyn park We just have to work hard with the staff and principles and we can be one of the best schools!

Excellent school overall and great friends in my 4 year period.
