Parks, trails and beautiful Lake. Hickory. Boating, fishing, swimming, water sports all around the lake. Friendly town and events and activities for all. "

    "It’s a very nice place to live. I’ve raised seven children in Hickory and all of them have turned out wonderful. I don’t remember the year, but Hickory was voted first and any city in the United States as the best place to raise your family."

    "I hate my neighborhood. I’m on the app trying to move out of Hickory. This is a small town, everyone knows everyone or knows someone who knows something on someone. I’m not from here and moved for a job. You just get trapped here. The job market is awful, housing is terrible, and it’s a very conservative area."
