Several rankings I clicked on said "data from 2014."Currently, RCMS has great Elective programs -- perhaps the best Music (both Band and Chorus) in the district! Teachers care and work hard with students. All classes are rigorous and teachers have high expectations of all students.Facilities are old but have been reasonably maintained. RCMS has probably the best gym and stage compared to the other middle schools. "Larger lots, older estate homes, private. Easy access to downtown; walk if you want. Easy to skirt downtown and avoid traffic for easy access to golf, tennis, biking. Great location and ambiance."
