I came to the Miami Dade County School District recently, and I've been performing better in quizzes/tests. The only reason I would not recommend this school is because of the lack of teaching. My son, is a bright kid with a lot of potential, but instead of getting the guidance and consistency he needs, it often feels like I’m left to figure things out on my own. I’ve reached out, followed up, and tried to stay involved, but the follow-through and support have been inconsistent at best.What’s frustrating is that I know my child is capable — he just needs the right structure and adults who will actually take the time to redirect him in a positive way. Instead, the same issues keep being repeated without any real solutions or teamwork between school and home.I truly hope the administration takes a deeper look at how students are being handled and how parents’ concerns are addressed. They tell the kids to be good so they can get to be all school students will bully other students. Teachers will bully students. Teachers don’t even teach most teachers don’t know what they’re teaching about and send you the in school suspension administration. Don’t tell the truth to parents and a kid got expelled for getting slammed on the door by administration instead of the administration getting fired. Only thing I would suggest the school for is 12th grade because. You may be able to get into colleges for free like FGCU but nothing else overall the school is very bad. I do not suggest sending your kids here for high school. Send them to the other gateway for middle school. You can send them to varsity lambs. You have a lot of options.Student Review1mo ago
