I am currently a student, and I like the school very much and like the environment, but we have a relatively violent environment where people have beef. Academically speaking, this is a good place too learn and the school values your input.

I can't say enough positive things about this school. My twins have truly thrived here, achieving high test scores that reflect the dedication and hard work of the teachers. The leadership is outstanding, and I'm so grateful for the nurturing environment they've created. My kids genuinely look forward to going to school each day, and that speaks volumes about the way they feel supported and cared for.

McMillen High School needs to improve when it comes to fairness and recognition. It often feels like students who regularly get into trouble receive more attention, while those who consistently do the right thing go unnoticed.You can walk into certain classrooms or offices and see the same students getting time, conversations, and leniency, while others who stay focused and respectful don’t receive that same level of acknowledgment.This creates the impression that positive behavior isn’t valued as much as it should be. A school environment should encourage and recognize students who are doing well, not overlook them.
