6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe prejudices that children bring to those of us who come from another country are terrible, although in elementary school the social part is easier, it is sad to see that responsible adults hide behind the fact that the problem is "adolescent hormones." I wish they understood that bullying is not a minor thing.Parent Review1y ago - May Watts Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFollow up review 4 years after my last post....I now have 3 kids in this school and I love May Watts school. The teachers are really good and seem to care. One of my kids was falling behind the other two in reading and he was put in a supplementary program to help (prior to me asking) and he has since caught up. Regarding communication, I would say it comes in 3 formats: e-mail, kids' take-home folder, and on-line on their websites, so really good there. A nice community of parents that care in a safe environment. Overall, this is a great school, I would highly recommend it.Parent Review9y ago - Metea Valley High School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAll 3 of my kids graduated from Metea and attended 4 year universities afterwards. Metea prepared them well! Especially strong music and visual arts programs that enriches our entire community. Supportive teachers with real world experience and strong leadership from principal on down. As a Latina mom, also appreciated how inclusive the school is to all races and groups. A lot of diversity at this school and it makes for a better overall community because of it. My kids’ friends were from all races, socio economic homes, and backgrounds. It was great to see and got them ready for the real world.Parent Review2y ago - Check out schools near 460 Grosvenor Ln.

"It was mostly quiet but I honestly did not spend too much time outside my own neighborhood growing up. The area by Washington middle school and San sucy was very nice and the people were nice. Nice nature trail near by and lots of activities for families. I do not currently live in the area any longer and have not for years but as I remembered it, it was lovely and you never had to worry about your kids playing outside since everyone was so friendly and knew each other. Overall the people in the San sucy area were what the neighborhood great. Looked out for each other and always looked out for each other’s pets when they ran from the house."
