"The public school system here needs a lot of work. School administrators need to be transparent with and accountable to their constituents. "

"Very close / easy access to virtually everything! The park(s), theater, museum(s) cross city trail, beaches, shopping, library, dining, downtown etc etc!"
  • Cristy V.
"It's a very dog friendly neighborhood, with a park and city walking trails very close by. But with that also comes some added noise from barking dogs here and there in backyards etc. "
  • Cristy V.
"Awesome beach, college town. Growing rapidly. if you love the feel of city life, married with beach life then this might be the place for you. Lots to do here... the downside- its pricey to live here and jobs (that pay well enough to afford to live here) are somewhat scarce. Also they are not planning well for the traffic coming into and around the city/suburbs with all the new growth and influx of people moving here. But other then that- it's a lovely place to live!!"
  • Pam K.
"This is a great area and is close to great schools, the hospital, Pine Valley Country Club, Independence Mall, downtown, the beaches and is within walking distance to Halyburton Park. Neighborhood has many sidewalks too."
