"i love the neighbor hood so dearly and its a great place to rase a family, we often have truck or treats right down the road thats just great."
  • Jessica S. W.
"Don’t let children play out by themselves. Some weird characters walk through and cars speed through all the time"
  • Gregorio S. P.
"They would love this area very much. There is park for them to play in. PetSmart is right up the road along with a vet"
  • Misty3320
"nothing really the noise on the interstate is horrible Nd don't like it at all. can't stand my neighbors or the noise around there it's awful want to buy a house in lubbock to be closer to my husband's job and closer to my family."
  • jamie b.
"I have lived in the Slaton-Myrtle area for 5 months coming from a large city. The traffic barely exists except for rush hour. The trees are mature and provide plenty of shade during the hot summers. Many of the neighbors keep their landscaping looking good but others leave their lawns to weeds. The park is a good walk and the neighborhood is fairly safe. There are lots of rentals in the area which may be the cause of the bad landscaping. Let's keep owners in the area! Stay west of University and north of 34th Streets if you want to be in the nicer area."

"becoming a strictly rental neighborhood, noisy...many cars parked on the road, mix of students and people don't take care of their yards "
