4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI was at this school for 6 years; this was the worst experience ever. As a former student who went here and struggled with mental health issues they did not help at all. They also did not provide good academic responsibility but the 5th grade math teacher. Also, all the teachers were rude to most of the kids and picked favorites like i probably got yelled at more than 100 times and i was a A+ student who was a good kid. The thing that is the wordt is how there is ZERO security. 1 security guard for both the middle and high school(they are one building). Fights are also kind of a problem. 5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOneonta school district is bad so bad especially middle and high school. They don't do summer school so everyone gets passed through. I also think online sites like because 92% of student excel In math? That's extremely false. They also do nothing for kids who get bullied. The kids who cause trouble and bully never have consequences. I'm from Long Island and no school there ever handle things as badly as oneonta.
