  • Minrice
"The Metra is literally feet from my home. I take it to work and back. I drive elsewhere. There is no bus route in Richton Park"
  • John W.
"Make sure your kids stay in school the streets isn’t safe nice neighborhood a lot of places to eat and shop "

  • Marita D.
"It's ok. People just need to learn to be considerate of others, especially after 11pm at night. Disturbing your neighbors that time of night with loud car music in the parking lot, shining your headlights into people's bedrooms, loud voices coming from you and your small children while walking to the buildings and once you're inside in the hallways shows no manners. Not everyone is on the same schedule, so you should think about how you would feel if your rest was disturbed. "
  • Mmwhite2004
"Quite and nice community. People are friendly and it is a safe place to raise children. Although there isn’t a great deal of shopping, it is close to interstate highways that lead to great shopping."
  • Veronicacool11
"Christmas Thanksgiving Halloween Veterans Day Mother’s Day makes my neighborhood special. This is a great and safe community to live in"
  • Henry C.
"Living here is a real community. Mostly everyone here either knows you because or family or is a friend of the family."
  • Thomas H.
"1.5 miles to the metra and 50 minutes to downtown. usually able to sit alone but sometimes rush hour trains are more crowded but still roomy."
  • Sanovia P.
"Halloween is one of my favorite events within the Community along with the 4th of July Fireworks that I hope Richton Parks budgets to do next year. "

  • Sblatch80
"its not a unique neighborhood at all. dumpy house and trashy apartments make Richton Park so bad that the city should pay its residents to live there. "
