  • Beospan
"Many dogs in neighborhood. Seem to be well tolerated. Very few strays about. Most pet owners have fences yards. "
  • Joel P.
"Safe place to live but can be improved. Iโ€™ve lived here for 12 years. Lots of places to visit for nature lovers. Not so much night life but close to cities. Easy access to expressway."
  • Bartow
"The neighborhood is friendly, quiet, clean, helpful and safe. I love here. We purchased this place in 2017 and have yet to regret. "
  • Angela
"None that I can think of within last 30 years. Country club is only gathering space. More so for elderly. HOA is useless and targets the wrong homeowners. Does not bother the loud or messy homeowners. Only the 80 year old people who arenโ€™t able to mow their lawn as often as the HOA would like. "
  • Patricia P.
"Easy commute to Crystal River, Suncoast extension, Springhill and more. 50 minutes to Tampa on Suncoast. 10 miles to Crystal River. 15 miles to Spring Hill "
  • EagleOne
"Plenty of space to walk your dog but lots of other dogs out there too! It is a very good idea to keep small dogs close because of predators though."
  • Rsrusa1
"Friendly, neighborly, quite place to live. Shopping just around the corner. There are school buses for the children and transportation services for adults"
  • Mchildress7@tampabay.r.com

"it is a beautiful quiet and safe enviroment. The school is very caring and loving community of teachers and other staff members. we have a crime watch car that drives around the community. "
  • Tweaver712
"nothing , it tries to be a retirement community but younger families are moving in and making it more attractive to buyers "
  • Drchillura
"Great street. Excellent neighbors. Safe area. Warm weather makes this area perfect for any family. Animal friendly and good golf. "
  • Apiratespleasure
"Lots of people here have dogs here. But youโ€™ll want a fenced in yard for them. And thereโ€™s a nice dog park not far from here. Most of the people here are nice and accepting of dogs too. "
  • Beospan
"Itโ€™s a laid back riverside community of backwoods locals, retirees, plus visitors coming to enjoy the river and gulf, including fishing, scalloping, and beautiful scenery, living in strained harmony. The locals were devastated by the state constitutional amendment banning gill-netting of mullet fish and never fully recovered. Drugs intervened, and continue to be a problem for natives. It is a golf-cart community, so one may get around legally in a cart, but a car is needed to access anything more than a mini-mart as far a shopping goes. There are many good local eateries, waterfront honkeytonks, bait shops and watercraft rental businesses. It is quiet, pleasant, and pretty peaceful. A gardenerโ€™s paradise."
  • Russ
"We love the green belt concept here. Sugarmill Woods is a beautiful community! The homes are well kept, and it's a safe neighborhood."
  • Sarah H.
"All of our neighbors mind their own business! That's something SPECIAL & IMPORTANT YET RARELY HAS BEEN THE CASE IN MY PAST."
  • Russ
"lots of dog owners in my neighborhood seen waking them around the same times. seems like a good way for the neighbors to get together and chat while they are out."
