2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageCarmanainsworth middle school is a joke. My kid was getting bullied there nothing was getting done about it. I just got fed up with the school not caring about my kid and my kid voice wasn't being herd. With all this said it was so bad to the point that it was effecting my kods education and her grades drop it was also effecting her mental health. I will say that Mrs doughty is one amazing teacher that truly cares about all her students.Parent Review1y ago - Dye Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageVery unorganized and chaotic they have a dangerous set up for pick up and drop off the staff seems rude and the attendance lady is incompetent and rude. She doesn’t keep up with any type of excused doctor notes and documentation. This school should be closed immediately. I have kids ranging from kindergarten to 12th grade I’ve been to Flint Schools Flushing Schools and Charter schools and Carman district is by far the worst.Parent Review2y ago - Gladys Dillon Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageDillon is a warm and inviting school with teachers and staff who care deeply about their students. They understand that each student has different needs and learns differently - classrooms are flexible and teachers are able to meet the needs of their students in unique ways. You won't find a better group of teachers - or students for that matter! - anywhere else in the district!Other Review6y ago - Randels Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy grandson went there for first grade abd between his home room, his art teacher, and his reading teacher they couldn't tell he needed glasses.During the 3rd report card period i told his homeroom teacher she didn't believe me.He finally took a school eye test as well as one from Walmart and he couldn't see anything. That was why he was acting up in school he felt stupid. Also there are 2 dogs roaming the halls like they are students. No leases or anything. The principal lied and said no dogs were there but i knew she was lying because my niece and nephew previously went there. Why would a student that was allergic to the dogs have to leave the school, why not the dogs.Randel us the only school in the carmen Ainsworth district that has dogs. The school is prejudice too even thou' the majority of students is african american.Other Review7y ago - Rankin Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageRankin has the best staff around. The teachers take a personal interest in each child's success. Parents are always welcome and treated with respect. I couldn't ask for a better place to have my kids go to school.Parent Review10y ago - Carman-Ainsworth High School

"I feel the police presence is needed more but other than that it’s an OK neighborhood . The younger generation use the streets as a race track with no concern of the kids that are on the block for that reason I feel the police presence is needed more but other than that the street lights and well lit I don’t feel too much danger because I know the neighbors in this neighborhood"
