"Dudley has a very good school district. There is no public transportation that I know of. Close to 395. Close to price chopper and park and shop."
  • Theresa D.
"Dogs are well accepted here with many being seen while on walks in my neighborhood. The people are pleasant and take care of the doggie droppings. "
  • Williamrclaiborne
"Close to major highway. Yet cozy small town feel. Limited public transportation. Traffic is not heavy in town."
  • Shgirl06
"Great area quiet great schools low crime friendly safe good police department not much to do, some stores otherwise have to travel about 15 minutes to do anything. Some good restaurants. "
  • IlmaC
"Iโ€™ve lived in my neighborhood for over 10 years. Itโ€™s quiet, safe and neighbors are great. People are helpful and the schools are amazing!"
  • Squaredengineer2

"Still own a home in this area. My wife loves a small comfortable community which Dudley is. Great area for young families to live."
  • Caitlynn P.
"We always help each other out. Keep an eye on each otherโ€™s property for theft and damage. We know all the cars that drive on our road. "
  • Stephanie M.
"There are some sidewalks but not everywhere on my street. There are many loud cars on my street. Usually if there are other dogs they are in a fenced in yard so the risk of a dog fight is low"
  • Squaredengineer2
"Neighbors walk their dogs and the high school and middle school is within an easy walk. Elementary kids are bused about a miles to school. "
  • Proautodudley
"I've lived hear all my life and would have to say it is the best community by far in southern Worcester county "
  • Lynn
"We've lived here going on 35 years, has been a great, safe place to raise our children and have them grow up in a connected community. They felt well prepared for the colleges of their choice when that time came. Living near the regional high school was a bonus, as picking them up from after-school activities took less than 5 minutes! With a small town feel, it's nice to go to the local stores and still always run into people we know and catch up with. The kids come back to visit and the same thing happens to them. The entire town turns out for the annual strawberry festival in Spring. It's a short drive to MA Pike to all points east and west, easy to Newport, and scenic NE CT. With a new police station and beautiful new library, Dudley isn't one of those towns time forgot. We have kept our taxes low, too. It's not a shopaholic's dream, but it is a great place to come home to."
