On the other side of the hallway the queen room, with its private bathroom, also enjoys its own access to the live oak shaded porch out front. Taking the stairway towards the back of the house, you pass through a lockable doorway to a private hallway which leads you to the two rear bedrooms. One of these is outfitted with a comfortable king bed, the other with a day-bed which is also a trundle bed. The desk and comfortable office chair in this room also encourage its use as a home office. These rooms, which can either function as two separate bedrooms or as a two room suite ,share a private marble bathroom.
Go out the back door from the kitchen and you step into a private, walled oasis of sub-tropical serenity, with palm trees, bamboo, citrus trees, perennial flowers, camelia and gardenia bushes, and a large brick patio. This latter is complete with a wicker couch and chairs, a fire pit, and an eight foot teak table with umbrella, perfect for an evening dinner. Our the laundry room door and adjacent to the teak table is a long counter with large gas grill.
