4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI think the school is okay, but mostly okay for kids who are Caucasian. Majority teaching staff is Caucasian. Diversity and Inclusion is obviously not a thing at this school. The African American kids have to work 3 times as hard as the Caucasian kids to get recognized the same way the Caucasian kids do who can do the very little. I think the school can be okay and be better if they focus more on diversity and inclusion. The teachers also does not seem to care much about the kids in a way that is caring. Some of the teachers seem more like it is a job than caring to ensure all the students are included and congratulated equally. NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMurphy has an incredibly large array of things to offer their students! Their IB program is top notch and they also offer a plethora of Dual Enrollment and Early College classes through The University of Alabama and The University of South Alabama. They also offer a ton of electives. The teachers are wonderful and some are even college professors at local colleges.
