About this House

Welcome to 4356 Harris Road! An incredible historical offering on 6 acres, available for the first time in nearly 40 years and located in the award-winning Williamston school district! This home has been pre-inspected by one of the area's best home inspectors and that report is available upon request! Privacy, curb appeal and care are evident upon arrival down a secluded tree-lined driveway. Upon entry, you're greeted by a stunning early 1900's brick exterior, gorgeous hardwood flooring and a cozy living room highlighted by a wood burning stove. The kitchen boasts newer hickory cabinetry, solid surface countertops and stainless-steel appliances. New kitchen appliances in 2022! A convenient formal dining space is located just off the kitchen next to an additional living room. Tons of natural light too! A screened-in porch, added off the back of the home, offers breathtaking views of the expansive 6-acre property. Back inside and upstairs, we find 3 nicely sized bedrooms, original hardwood flooring, and an original claw-foot tub! Outside, we find an expansive 4 car garage and hip roof barn for your toys, hobby farm or added storage. The hip roof barn received a brand-new roof in 2025! Additional features include several newer windows, a new high efficiency furnace, a smart thermostat and central air installed in 2022, several electrical upgrades, and a whole-house generator (that also powers the outbuildings!), newer gutters and gutter guards, chicken coop, and one of the best lots in all of Williamston! Not to mention Locke Township for taxes and being less than 5 minutes from downtown Williamston. You'll fall in love with the character Williamston offers, including the ever-popular restaurant Tavern 109, Zynda's, The Williamston Pub, D & W Grocery and the authentic Greek restaurant Niko's! McCormick Park is located just a few minutes down the road and hosts live outdoor music, a Sunday Farmers Market during the summer and so much more. It's also less than 10 minutes to the highway and about 15 minutes to East Lansing! If you're looking for space between neighbors in a great location, a potential hobby farm or space for an expansive garden, peace and quiet - this is a must-see! Call today for your private showing to see this one-of-a-kind offering in Williamston!

"Great area to raise a family!"
  • Storyrob
"Dogs are welcomed. The neighbors even help when there’s a runaway. Drivers are mindful of pets and pedestrians."
  • Kaitlinann0913
"Dogs are always welcomed anywhere, they even have a dog park that your dog would love, people around here are very friendly!! "
  • Emily22298
"I’m not really sure of events. I do know that when it is the Fourth of July there is a little hill we can go to or a small spot near the doctors office to watch the fire works which is pretty cool! The farmers market is small but it is very fun!"
  • Steve H
"My neighborhood is a great place to be for young families with kids. It’s well monitored both internally and by the police and sidewalks are well lit so I feel very safe here and safe for my kids to be out and about in the neighborhood. Neighbors are very friendly and helpful as well. Overall, it’s a great place to be! "
  • Adp3d
"A bedroom community without much choice in public transportation. We have some great local eateries and a small community theater. "
  • Eric D. D.
"This is a wonderful area close to everything you need. Easy compute to Flint, Detroit, Grand Rapids. Choice of schools Okemos, Haslett, Williamston all top rated. No water bills, low taxes, Updated and well maintained home."
  • Eric D. D.
"We have lived here since 1986 and love it, sense of community, safe, convenient to everything, low taxes, no water bills, great schools Okemos, Haslett both go past house daily. This is a wonderful home/area for any stage of life."
  • Sarahclay2016
"I live in Williamston and the community is very kind. WHS is in the top 3% of all US high schools, as well as on the AP honor roll. If you have kids you should definately consider moving to Williamston. There is a small, family owned movie theater in town called The Sun Theatre, and it has low prices and nice people. The McCormick park is very kid friendly, with a playground, toddler area, pavillions, bike/walking path, river, big grassy area, band shell, and wooden sculptures. Overall I would rate Williamston a 10/10."
  • cyberiris
"A pleasant reasonably prosperous small town combining a rural feel with some sophistication (fine restaurants, its own theater, good golf course etc) and close to all the sports, cultural and educational opportunities of Michigan State University. The schools are above average. I'm a long time resident."
  • GlassPainter
"Well built mainly ranch-style homes built beginning in the 1960s through the 1990s. Quiet, friendly neighborhood with easy access to Gr. River Ave. and I96. Large lots in Glen Dor Estates (cul de sacs)."
  • CChristesen
"We have lived in the Knolls of Plymouth Landing since 2004. Beautiful neighborhood. I bought my home because it was one of the best built homes I'd ever seen. Craftsmanship was outstanding. Seven years later, still outstanding. Close to the expressway, but not too close. Close to anything you may be interested in. We are 15 minutes from Okemos and 20 minutes from Wharton Center."
  • Briantoo
"Williamston is "small town" in many ways. Lots of local businesses, quiet evenings, and a real community feel for those who want it. It's still close enough to MSU, East Lansing and Lansing to have urban vibe and cultural access. Between those and Williamston, Okemos provides a mall, big box stores, and corporate dining places as well as some unique shops and restaurants, only 10 minutes from home. An easy commute from Lansing and the area, and separate enough to be its own place, Williamston is a great place to live."
