  • Stacey Ippolito

"I grew up in this area and I moved back around a yr ago. It has deteriorated over the yrs, sadly. The south side has alot of violence:shootings,drugs,break-ins and gang violence. There has been a few shootings recently in oakland park. There is a good bit of abandoned houses in the neighborhood. We definitely keep the doors locked. The schools are terrible,If we stay in the area will be hard-shipping my kids or home schooling next yr. "
  • Trulia User
"Right now, on MY street Mulberry Dr., we have had no auto or home break ins . But it’s happening in all surrounding neighborhoods! It’s only a matter time. "

"I will live in Lindsay Creek it's a quiet neighborhood and it's a very nice good community to stay at "
  • Trulia User
"I have my own transportation because there is more walking than busing around this area however buses are available in walking distance "
  • Trulia User
"commuting is not bad at all there's a bus stop at almost every corner so there's no problem of getting around only thing is that there's not enough places that I can go and just enjoy myself within the city being that there's a lot segregation and discrimination going on within this beautiful city in which I think if we had outlets to enjoy it will decrease the unneighborly feel of the city"
  • Trulia User
"It’s perfect area! Nothing to dislike and I see a lot of people walking with their dogs every single day "
  • Trulia User
"Holidays and friendly neighbors. The nearby area is convenient for everything! Parks, restaurants, shopping and more "

"Been living in Columbus, Georgia 24/years. This location have a popular park called Lake Bottom. Lake Bottom is where I walk too maintain good health. Have a tennis court , track for running/walking, clean restrooms, basketball court. Nice safe area too live or invest in. "
  • Trulia User
"Historic neighborhood slowly undergoing gentrification. Nice turn of the century houses. Quiet block. "
  • Lyricn
"There are many dog’s in the neighborhood however you rarely see anyone taking them on walks. Because of this there is not poop to be cleaned up. "
  • Erin S. J.
"Lock your doors. There is a big mix of lifestyles here and that makes crime abundant. The area needs gentrification and cleanup in places. Then it would be safer for everyone. Houses could be more affordable if they were not gems in the rough. "
  • Levonhoskins0821
"Brit David Park is a dog friendly park, alot of people walk all hours of the day so it is a very safe park."
  • Devarier R.
"When walking past and others dogs start barking, so it causes a chain reaction and all the other peoples dogs start barking through the neighborhood too"
  • Christopher J.
"For the most part this neighborhood is safe and is close to public transportation and downtown also close to JR Allen "
  • Gracielani
"Easy access to highway, but tucked in for a neighborly feels and close to shopping and post. Both 10-15 minutes each way. Conveniently located. "
  • Heather M.
"Traffic flow is good with few problems. The lights are timed correctly allowing traffic to move easily. Roads are in okay shape. This is an older established town with friendly people and few problems. "
  • Mikabika1113
