8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI was bullied several times here. I reported it to admin and they said they would help if I reported it again but failed to when I did so. The counselors barley helped with actual mental health issues. the counselors office was comforting but still. This school needs to get a better disciplinary action structure. The education system pushes kids way too hard. A teacher here bullied my brother but didn't get fired. Most teachers here were great but some were horrible. 10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBoth my kids attended Weddington high school and had a great learning experience. I also volunteered in the front office and will tell you that the kids at this school are polite and respectful. The kids care about their academic performance but are also down to earth. I found Weddington to be a very balanced place for my kids. The other thing to know, is that alot of the kids have moved into the area so they know what it is like to be "the new kid".
