"The Spanish town parade runs through here annually and it’s a blast. The mom and pop Spanish town market has live music occasionally and is a frat place to hang out "
  • Allison M.
"Very few children. More of a pet neighborhood. Triple X rated parade for Mardi Gras. The downtown school ms are private and high dollar. "
  • Nick S.
"Always people walking their dogs but not a lot of grass areas. As a female walking them at night is slightly concerning since people approach asking for money. "
  • Lynn o.
"Capitol View Place is located near downtown but separated by the state parks, lakes and the capitol complex. It is bordered by the Louisiana Governors Mansion property and the lakes. This is a small, modern, quiet and exclusive subdivision with with some fifteen houses with several valued at over a million dollars and it has a '0' crime rate. This is a beautiful, peaceful residential subdivision and the only one of its kind in the downtown area "
  • Gayle L.
"restaurants, LSU and many other businesses. There is a corner grocery store around the corner!! Loved riding bikes in area"
