3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe Principal is often leaving for the day early...like 10 AM. The VP is overloaded, but tries to be as helpful as possible. Communication between parents and administrators is severely lacking...as in non-existent. If you're waiting for a call back, don't. If you're not standing in front of them, you're not a priority. Parents, be aware that scare tactics are being used in assemblies on a regular basis as a method of trying to get better test scores. It was confirmed to me by an administrator, who seemed to value this tactic. Apparently this is now acceptable. Most of the teachers here are huge assets to their profession, and it shows. They encourage and challenge kids to learn and grow. 4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child has been in this school since kindergarten currently now in 3rd grade. We had issues since the fist day we stared ,the teachers have no communication and no control of un behaved students. I was able to witness this situation during online class. Somehow the same un behave students keep been placed in the same class as my child. My child comes home & mentions the same names of this students always having behavioral issues, bullying & harassment to my child & other class mates. I have spoken to teachers , staff and principals, but nothing has changed! There has been points where my kid cries about assisting this school. I really tried giving this school a chance but there is always one thing or another. There is really rude staff they need more professionalism it seems like they hate the job! I don’t feel comfortable leaving my child around this type of adults I can not imagine how they treat our poor kids if they don’t know how to treat parents. As a parent I do not feel welcome there is no activity where parents are able to assist & come see kids participate or have communication with teachers we basically don’t know what really goes on inside this school ! I really do not recommend this school they need to have some changes done! I am currently looking for another school who has better education & communication. If you really care about your children take some time to find a good school! Woodway is not it!!Parent Review8mo ago

"I've lived in Wedgwood my whole life except college, so 35 years. I came back to raise my family. My parents were raised here and came back to raise their kids, so since 1960ish. It's a great neighborhood. The schools are iffy, though."

"Rarely see kids outside. Mostly older people. Quiet, respectful people. Yards mostly well-kept with no outside clutter. Mostly nice duplexes. Within 10 minutes drive of shopping."

"Right off the Candleridge park, this area is a great place for starting a family, retiring, or just living life in whatever stage you are in. There are retirees, small families, and couples nearby. The Candleridge trails with a lake are a nice place to walk or exercise- safe at night as well. Grocery stores, gyms, and stores all within a few miles. Great place to live. "
