"No events are in our neighborhood, it is pretty quiet, And a little boring, but that’s El Paso it’s always been boring"
  • Trulia User
"This neighborhood is beautiful. The Franklin Mountains are nearby, great for hiking, walking, and bicycling. There are several beautiful parks for family recreation and dog walking. There’s plenty of options for places to shop and eat. We have a new water park nearby as well. The neighbors are friendly and helpful if needed. "
  • Trulia User
"Most dog walkers are friendly and respectful picking up after their dogs. The neighborhood works well together when an owners dog gets loose. We have beautiful parks, mountains with great trails for walking. There are dog groomers and pet stores available. So many neighbors have picked up stray dogs, brought them to get checked for a chip so that they can be reunited with their families."
  • Tia B.
"Safe neighborhoods and quiet. Nice parks and schools are pretty close depending what side you live on"
  • Zoemartin083
"Lots of people walking dogs. There is the occasional off leash dog or dogs who have gotten out. Multiple people leave their dogs out in their yards so they bark during the night, but that’s more of an El Paso thing."
  • Bailey H.
"The area I live in has a huge park area for families and also there are many families around that I see walking everyday "
  • Vanessa C.
"The park in north hills has no dog park. However, there are many hiking/walking/ biking trails to take with your dog."

"Bicycle riding in nearby mountains with groups or individually. Pet walking and hiking into the mountains. We have a neighborhood watch and monthly community meetings."
  • Evgueni
"great and safe place to live, if you like outdoors for jogging or cycling - streets are safe or go to run trails. The wild life preserve is just around the corner with great views of the Franklin mountain. NE is the best location in town - far enough from all the city and airport noice, and yet convenient for various shopping, hospitals, entertainment. Drive to the west side, or to the east - spend your day there and come home to relax."
  • Kinsey H.
"Nice and quiet place to live in. Very safe it seems nothing bad that I know of has happened since we’ve been here. We like the area! "
  • Brianna S.
"We have a beautiful park next to the mountain and it had a small bike trail and it’s beautiful. If you love the view of the mountains, it’s a beautiful place to relax and take your dog too. "
  • Linda
