4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a parent of a child enrolled in this school, I want to highlight some concerns regarding the support for students with ADHD. My child has ADHD and is covered by an active 504 plan. Despite being actively engaged in academics, I have observed that the school's primary focus seems to be on disciplining children with hyperactivity issues rather than adequately addressing the needs of students like mine. It's disheartening to see that the school is not willing to follow through with the accommodations outlined in my child's plan without encountering resistance. This creates unnecessary hurdles for my child's education and overall well-being. I strongly urge the school to prioritize understanding and implementing the accommodations specified in my child's 504 plan to ensure a supportive learning environment for all students, including those with ADHD.In conclusion, I hope that the school administration will take proactive steps to address these concerns and work collaboratively with parents to create a more inclusive and supportive educational experience for students with diverse learning needs. Other reviews from 10+ years ago are still accurate.Parent Review2mo ago - J M Hill El School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGreat school! I moved from NJ to PA 10 years ago. My son is attending 5th grade. I can see the teachers give 100% from the assignments. I also like their extracurricular activities such as band, chorus (both great performance every semester), chess club, OM, etc. I don't know how this school compares to other schools in PA or other states, but I am very impressed and pleased with this school.Parent Review9y ago - East Stroudsburg Shs South

"I reside in this area from And My almost 4 yrs. This is a big change living in a rural area. It has been building up alot! As more people are running to Pa to escape high cost of living etc. This area is becoming increasingly expensive too! A car is more needed here depending on where you live and buses are very limited!! Its overall quiet and great nature in the area. "

"This is not a walkable area unless you want to get killed by a car. There are no sidewalks. My family member lives there for seven years and the neighbors do not even look at you. It is the most unfriendly development I have ever encountered. There are no dogs allowed in that development so I don’t know why it says that it’s pet friendly."
