Up for sale is our remodeled home in the Lancaster Camp Ground. Built in the 1960's as a bunkhouse, it was totally remodeled in 2014/2015. It was remodeled with a desire to keep the historic charm of the building and community.

The main floor has the living, kitchen and dining area, as well as a full bathroom and laundry room. Upstairs has 3 bedrooms and a 1/2 bath off the master bedroom. A ladder from the built in triple bunks in one bedroom leads to a partial loft space perfect for young children. Two other areas upstairs were used as a homeschool room and play area, but could also be easily converted to other uses.

The house is heated and cooled by two Mitsubishi mini split heat pumps. New roof, windows, siding, foundation, plumbing and electric all completed in 2016/2017.

Outside, there is an 8x12 shed and parking beside the house. It backs up to a few acres of woods with a nature trail. The community is a quiet and peaceful place and very safe for young children to ride and play. There is swimming pool on the grounds as well various sports courts and grounds to walk and explore. It is an active community with many activities and events throughout the year.

On the grounds you own your house but not the land. The land is free to use around your house and there is a monthly lease that includes water, sewer, trash, part of your property taxes, and use and maintenance of the grounds.

    "I’ve lived in this area from birth until 19 or 20 I moved away for about 15 years maybe a few more growing up it was a safe area neighbors friendly could leave your door unlocked I would not really be able to say the same now as most of small town USA it has been taken over by drug pushers and users this area is known for methamphetamine use and manufacturing wish it was how I remember it growing up but I still wouldn’t say it’s the worst area it’s just not as wholesome as it once was"
