7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child started the school during the pandemic and online was rough for him. His teacher took classes to help prepare for online class and helping students. Once back in person, he did struggle academically because it was not on his top priority list. Socialization was his top priority, his teacher used that. His teacher was to help him without him realizing it. The past year he had an amazing teacher, that was thoughtful and tried to work with all students and any struggles they had. I'm looking forward to the upcoming year and I believe the kids with thrive. Bullying is a issue, like other places and they have been trying ways to improve it. Giving ideas to administration would help. I do wish the special Ed program got more support from the state. The program at the school is great and those who work with those students do and try whatever they can to help students. The school is small so state doesn't help like the bigger schools get. "I used to drive to a park n ride to catch commuter bus or vanpool. On some occasions, I would drive the 50 miles one way to work. The morning commute was faster than the evening commute. "

"In some neighborhoods, people stay to themselves. There are occasional predator animals sighted during the day, as well as stray dogs. Not a lot for kids to do, so parents should have activities planned. Kids are buses to the schools. Elementary students are not allowed to walk to school. Great environment for families wanting to live away from suburbs or urban. "

"Small town, small country store and gas. 20 min to Palmdale, Lancaster, Santa Clarita. The lake is dry due to drought conditions 2014. Friendly, safe place to live. High School is down below. Elementary and Middle school =like private school.. Community events. The Rock and Crossroads Tavern for local flavor. "
