About this House

Nicely maintained 2 bedroom, 1 bath home, just a short walk from historic German Village. This one strikes a great balance between original charm and thoughtful modern updates from the painted brick fireplace and rich hardwood floors to a full suite of smart-home features that make everyday living easier. A new AC and water heater mean your comfort is already taken care of, and the covered front porch gives you a welcoming spot to unwind. Plus, with a landlord living on-site, you can count on quick attention whenever something needs a little TLC.

Inside, the updated kitchen features granite countertops, white cabinetry, and a stainless gas range, while ceiling fans and generous natural light carry through the bedrooms and main living areas. Out back, enjoy a large shared backyard complete with a patio, fire pit, and a thriving herb and vegetable garden (think tomatoes, kale, rosemary, and peppers). A great spot to relax or grow your own.

Easy walking distance from everything Merion Village and German Village have to offer: browse the famous 32-room Book Loft, catch a free play at Schiller Park, pick up your morning coffee or freshly roasted beans at Jennings Java, or hop over to Kroger for all your grocery needs - it's only half a block away.
