1/10 it is the WORST school in Alachua County Point Blank Period!!!!!

This school is amazing. Some of the best years of my life were spent studying and having fun here. I would definitely recommend this school for any academically inclined students looking for a bright future.

As a student of GHS, I believe serious changes should be made. There is mold in some of the bathrooms and classrooms, and the school often smells like the sewer. That’s not a healthy environment for students or staff.Since the new principal arrived, pep rallies have been taken away, making the school feel more like a boot camp than a place for learning and connection. School is meant for education, yes, but it should also be positive and memorable experience for teenagers. We deserve a balance between learning and enjoyment.It also feels like teachers aren’t being properly supported, and changes only happen when parents step in. As this is my last year, I wanted it to be one I could remember fondly, but instead, it feels depressing and dull.GHS needs improvements: more parking spaces, cleaner facilities, better maintenance , and the return of fun activities that bring students together — like pep rallies. If so much is being taken away, at least give us that. Students deserve a safe, fun, and motivating environment to learn in.
