This school is actual garbage. They don’t care of your child is a straight a student . As long as you kiss as* or play a sport they care. The counselor Jennifer mouney shouldn’t be in this line of work. She’s clearly not suited for helping children. She’s the worst counselor my child has ever experienced in all her years of school. If you need proof I have the messages . And even the no respond ones. Or how she can’t even take time to come to an appointment with a parent. I truly truly am saddened that she is in charge of the 100 students she complains about being to busy . Well quit and find something you can handle .

Teachers and parent organizations are great at this school. The building always left something to be desired, but good news is that the County is working on replacing the building to a tune of about $27 million within the next 5 years. Would expect continued excellence during the transition.

As a sibling of someone with disabilities, it pains me to write this. Myrtle Grove is by far the worst school in the Wilmington area. Not only is it poorly equipped with teacher’s that just “push students along” (even when it would benefit them to hold them back or actually work with them) but it condones bullying. A teacher admitted to acknowledging the bullying of a disabled student yet did nothing about it. This school is a disgrace to education. Soon, the school boards will catch up to them. If you have the option to send your student elsewhere, I recommend you do so.
