About this House

ALL UTILITIES ARE PAID BY THE LANDLORD! (This saves the tenant over $200/month!!)
This completely remodeled 2nd story Studio apartment is located behind a single-family home in the desirable Los Cerritos neighborhood of Bixby Knolls in Long Beach.
The unit has a private, gated entrance off the alley at the rear of the property and a dedicated well-lit staircase. The huge private deck for the unit has been rebuilt and resurfaced, offering spectacular views of the Virginia Country Club Fireworks display on Independence Day and adds a significant amount of outdoor living space.
The studio overlooks the beautiful backyard of the property, filled with backyard birds, squirrels, trees and flowers, giving the space a "Treehouse" ambiance. You can hear the gentle, soothing flow of the fountain located on the front home's back deck. There is a storage area for the tenant in the breezeway garage below, next to your own washer and dryer!
Completely remodeled with recessed lighting, cherry cabinets, granite countertops, a microwave/convection oven, 2-burner gas cooktop, deep stainless-steel sink with multiple accessories (drainer, cutting board, etc.), a disposal and a full-size refrigerator. There is a ceiling fan in the dining area, a ceiling heat lamp & fan in the bath, new, mirrored closet doors in bed area, and new window coverings and laminate flooring throughout. The front door is equipped with a security door, which allows for maximum airflow in the studio.
Additional remodeling is expected to be complete mid-April, and includes a tankless water heater, new windows & HVAC system.
There is a 4-year-old female miniature Cocker/Shepherd mix dog on the property who is very friendly once introduced yet will bark if a stranger comes close to the property. Her favorite game is fetch! The owners in front appreciate their privacy and respect the tenant's privacy as well, yet are close by when needed. The couple are working Seniors, so the property is mostly quiet aside from occasional entertaining that can spill out to the backyard.
Conveniently close to Trader Joe's, Aldi, Smart & Final, CVS, Post Office, Banks, Steelcraft and much more. The Blueline Wardlow Station and access to the 405 & 710 freeways are also nearby. A short walk to Los Cerritos Park and the Summer Concert Series for free entertainment in the Summer.
The successful applicant will have a minimum credit score of 650 and a net income of at least 2 times the rent ($3600). Additional instructions will be provided during the application process.
The studio tenant does not receive mail directly from the Post Office and may want to opt for a P.O. Box nearby.
