The house has a relatively new 30 yr architectural shingled roof and is very clean and well maintained. The kitchen has recently been remodeled with new cabinets, countertop, microwave, dishwasher and garbage disposal. The washer/dryer hook-ups are in the utility room with a mop sink for added convenience.

The house has a good size living room with a dining area that opens up to the kitchen. Every window has mini-blinds. Each bedroom has a ceiling fan.

The backyard is fenced with a shed in the back for storage of yard equipment and tools.

The house is close to nearby schools.

The house has central gas heat, gas hot water and central air conditioning. Trash pick-up is provided by the city of Hampton.

Pets (dog and/or cat) are permitted but no exotic pets are permitted. The security and pet deposits are fully refundable. I list 2 dogs and 2 cats, ideally no more then 2 pets total - open to discussion.

The house is listed as being available on 10/10/25 but it could be slightly earlier as the current residents have a PCS move.

Military transfer clause for active duty military.

Renters insurance required

I use RentRedi for applications, lease and rent payments.

1 year lease that can go month to month after 1 year.

All utilities (gas, Newport News Waterworks, electric, HRSD) paid by tenant.

Security deposit due within 2 days of lease signing. The signed lease and security deposit "reserves" or "secures" the house. transfer clause for active duty military.
